My name is Julie Martinez, and I am the DOR Student Services Counselor at the Laguna Creek Office. I have worked serving students for over 10 years at both the community college and university level. I work at the Department of Rehabilitation in the South Sacramento area, serving youth aged 16-21 years providing the following services: Career Exploration, Work Based Learning Experiences, Post Secondary Counseling, Work Readiness Training, and Self-Advocacy. I enjoy working with students with disabilities to help them reach their full potential.

My name is Gerardo (Jerry) Oseguera, I have been with the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) since 2004 as a Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (SVRC). Currently I am serving students as a SVRC/Student Services Coordinator (SC). My goal as a seasoned SVRC/SC is to provide the guidance, assistance, and clear understanding of the five DOR student services to young participants ages 16 – 21. We serve the South Sacramento, Elk Grove, Galt and any other schools within the South Sacramento/Elk Grove District. We also provide student services to community charter schools, as well as students in homeschool settings.

I have been with DOR since 2018 and I work primarily with high school and college students ages 16-21. I serve several charter and continuation schools, Adult Education and Community Education, and school districts including Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) and Galt Unified School District (EGUSD).
