Hello, my name is Kathleen McGowan, and I am a Student Services, Counselor (QRP) for the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) Northeast Branch. I work with students ages 16 – 21 in the Sacramento and El Dorado County. Our program covers high schools within the Northeast areas of Sacramento County and into El Dorado County. We currently have students who are enrolled in the We Can Work programs offering work experience to students as well as working with the Student Transition and Employment Program (STEP) in collaboration with the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership and the Folsom Cordova school districts.

Hello, my name is Neil Alley, and I am a Student Services Coordinator for the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) Northeast Branch. I work with students ages 16 – 21 years in northeast Sacramento county and El Dorado County. I meet with students and provide pre-employment transition services including, job exploration, post-secondary counseling, self-advocacy training, work readiness and coordination of work experiences.
